The joy of seeing repeat customers is so wonderful. I love it!
And today those repeat customers were also diehard fans. They were ruddy, tough diehard football fans
of the University of Illinois football team.
These fans, both young and old, came out in the freezing cold temps to
cheer on their Illini team as that team battled the Iowa Hawkeyes.
Meanwhile I got to paint them and it was amazing. Music was pumping, eyes were smiling, the
wind was NOT blowing (praise you Jesus)!
And there was something else.
There was such happiness on the faces of folks who are proud to wear
their football teams colors – all over their faces! J
It was just so much fun and I was so happy to be there. Thank you University of Illinois for letting
me be a part of coloring up your games.
It’s such a happy thing to bring the orange and blue paint, add kids and
then just see what happens! J
